payroll giving - give when you get paid
Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn) is the most tax efficient way to give to Yorkshire Cancer Research.
How does it work?
You just decide how much you want to give to Yorkshire Cancer Research each month. Most people give between £7 and £10.
Your donation comes out of your pay packet before the taxman touches it. Therefore, to donate £7.50 a month to Yorkshire Cancer Research it will only cost you £6 as the tax man will add the remaining £1.50.
Payroll Giving is a valuable, long-term source of revenue, providing regular income to help Yorkshire Cancer Research budget and plan ahead more effectively.

As an Employer what do I need to do?
If you are not registered with Give As You Earn you need to contact the Charities Aid Foundation. To register call 01732 520019 or go to www.giveasyouearn.org.uk
Once you have done this your staff will be able to give tax effectively to Yorkshire Cancer Research and can complete the Give As You Earn form.
