It doesn't matter if participants run, walk or crawl, everyone, including spectators will be adding to the atmosphere of the day. Everyone is invited to the event and it is hoped that 15,000 people will join the 'Run for All' event in Leeds raising over £1 million for charities.
Jane Tomlinson was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given 6 months to live, however, over a seven years period while fighting the disease Jane took on a series of amazing challenges including:
A full Ironman (4km Swim, 180Km bike ride and full marathon - completed inside 17 hours),
Two half Ironmans,
The London Marathon three times,
The New York Marathon,
Three London Triathlons and Three long distance bike rides - John O Groats to Lands End, Rome to Home and her final huge challenge a 6781.8 km ride across America.
Jane sadly passed away in September 2007, however the Tomlinson family continue to develop the run for all events and keep the spirit of Jane alive.
