One of the most popular half marathons in the north of England, this challenging 13.1 mile course is set throughout the streets of Leeds, starting on the Headrow and finishing on Millennium Square in the city centre.

The race is suitable for runners of all abilities aged 17 or over, and there are 5,000 places up for grabs.

You can either compete as an individual or as part of a corporate challenge team and all participants receive chip timing, drink stations throughout the race, finishers t-shirt, medal and goodie bag for an entry fee of just £22 (£20 for members of running clubs). Prizes include £500 each for the first male and female to finish, and £200 each for the first male and female finishers from the Leeds Local Authority Area.

Last year participants raised a fantastic £30,000 for our research, treatment and diagnosis projects.

Once again teams of six people are invited to complete the course in relay format. Each of the first five runners will run a two-mile leg, while the sixth will cover the last 3.1 miles to the finish. 150 team places are available and the entry fee of £90 includes a relay baton, drink stations throughout the race, finishers t-shirt, medal and goodie bag for each team member. Prizes are awarded to the first team, first all female team and the first mixed team (to include at least three females) to finish, who will all receive a commemorative plaque and bottle of champagne.
