12th August 2012
Our Pedal for Pounds charity bike rides raise about £40,000 a year to help fund 200 world class scientists and clinicians across Yorkshire.
This year we're launching an even bigger and better cycle route and it's our toughest challenge yet - a 100km/62-mile sponsored bike ride around some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful countryside.
Pedal for Pounds 2012 will begin and end at Ilkley Rugby Club, taking in stunning landmarks within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The route has been specially designed with the help of experienced cyclists, and includes Gouthwaite and Leighton reservoirs, Bolton Abbey and Pateley Bridge.
The entry fee will be £18 and participants will once again be provided with a T-shirt, fundraising pack, en-route refreshments and finisher’s certificate and medal.
Please be aware that by continuing to enter this event you are agreeing to our full terms and conditions.
