Nidderdale Walk and Run content
Join Harrogate Rotary Club in their 33rd annual Nidderdale Walk, a much‑loved charity event set in the stunning landscapes of Upper Nidderdale.
Starting and finishing at Pateley Bridge Scout Hall, this iconic walk offers six fully waymarked routes designed for all abilities, ranging from 4, 8, 15, 18, 22, and 26 miles. Each route takes you deeper into the beautiful dale, with longer distances carrying you beyond Lofthouse and across some of Nidderdale’s most scenic moorland and reservoirs.
The Rotary Club of Harrogate has organised this event for more than three decades, raising over £1 million for local charitable causes, and all thanks to those who walk, run, and rally behind the event each year.
Let’s walk for new and better ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer. Let’s walk for the people who need them now and for those who will benefit in the future.
Every step counts, so let’s walk Yorkshire together.

Why Yorkshire needs you
Yorkshire is one of the regions hardest hit by cancer, with people here more likely to be diagnosed and less likely to survive than in other parts of England. Together, we can change this.
By getting involved, you’re helping fund life‑saving research and giving more people across Yorkshire the chance to live longer, healthier lives, free from cancer.
