Response to Public Accounts Committee call for evidence on reducing NHS waiting times

The Public Accounts Committee has called for evidence to support its Inquiry into reducing waiting times in the NHS for elective care.

In its response to the Committee, Yorkshire Cancer Research describes elective care waiting times in Yorkshire, evaluates the impact of delays in treatment and proposes recommendations to reduce waiting times in elective care. The Charity calls for cancer prehabilitation and rehabilitation services to be embedded into NHS cancer care pathways.
