Yorkshire Cancer Research’s response to NICE draft guideline for Kidney Cancer content
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) produce best practice guidance for the NHS. When developing this guidance, they ask for experts and organisations to contribute by highlighting the relevant evidence in the area.
In October 2025 Yorkshire Cancer Research responded to NICE’s consultation on their draft guideline for Kidney Cancer. In this response the charity highlighted the need for people with diagnosed and suspected kidney cancer to be automatically enrolled into smoking cessation support.
