Huddersfield and Spen District Association Camping and Caravanning Club has raised £1,400 for Yorkshire Cancer Research. content
The club organised several fundraisers, including a book exchange, raffles, and coffee mornings at weekend rallies and holiday meets.
Mr Roman Boryslawskyj, Chair of Huddersfield and Spen DA Camping and Caravanning Club said:
“We were delighted to nominate Yorkshire Cancer Research as our chosen charity in 2022/23. Cancer has touched the lives of many of our members and we are pleased that the money raised will help to fund vital cancer research here in Yorkshire.”
Jane Dutton, Chair of the Huddersfield Volunteer Group, Yorkshire Cancer Research, said: “Yorkshire Cancer Research would like to thank Huddersfield and Spen DA Camping and Caravanning Club for their valuable support. The money raised will go towards funding world-leading research to help prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer in Yorkshire."
