The 2026 Funding Round is for clinical research projects testing the latest innovations in the NHS or local communities in the following areas:
- Reducing the risk of developing cancer
- Improving early diagnosis and cancer screening
- Improving cancer treatments
- Reducing cancer-related health inequalities

Funding Round opens: 9 October 2025
Deadline for preliminary applications: 12 noon, 4 December 2025
Deadline for full applications: 12 noon, 26 March 2026
Funding decisions: October 2026
