Volunteer in a Yorkshire Cancer Research shop

My mum died in November of 2022, and I actually first heard about the charity when they were suggested as a collection at her funeral. When I saw the advert for volunteers, it felt perfect, and everything aligned.

“I’d retired to look after my Mum, but I still wanted to keep busy, and volunteering felt like a good way to do that. If I can give a little bit back, at the same time as getting something positive out of it, it’s great.”
